Hi. A 1994 Ranger, 4WD, manual, 4L. I have trouble getting into first and second. Will go in but almost have to come to a complete stop. Double clutch seems to do the trick at times. Bit of grinding into second at times. Won’t stay in third. Fourth, fifth and reverse no problem Goes into 2L, 2H and 4L no prob. Fluid levels on clutch and tranny fine. No leaks.
Just FYI (following the rules of Urgent!), the problem I encountered was nothing more than a broken wire on the starter. Quick and easy fix.
