Its gonna be a slow progression, Im cheap and do everything on a budget!!! Soooo mods will happen as I find a to good to pass up deal! Kind like my Ranger, picked it up for $200. Little bit of the basics on it 200,000+mile 94 ranger, 4.0, 5 speed, 4x4, originally a Kansas truck. Besides fixing some minor things to make it safe to drive this is how I aquired it.

Next up was getting rid of the black eye and the threat of the drivers headlight and turn signal falling off!!!

Driving I noticed my daughters were squinting in the back seats really bad, well you know I had to remedy that. Or at least thats what the wife got told!! LOL

Staring at the chipped and faded flares just kind of irritated me, well at least thats where I started that day!! obviously ended up bedlinering from the body line down too. One of the things Ive done that the wife actually liked!!!

Well then it was time to see what the 4x4 in this little thing could do. I know it doesnt look like much in this pic, but theres a couple concrete slabs that are sticking out of this fill. They were about half way up the LF tire, locked it in 4 low and she crawled right up it with no argumnent. Well that impressed me to say the least, cant wait to see what else its capable of!!

And last but not least, the newest thing to make it my own. Still a slight work in progress as I wanna put a new muffler and slide the tips and pipe just a bit more under the bumper. Need to decide what kind of muffler to go with though. Funny this is I had the y-pipe for about 10 years in a shed waiting to own something it would fit and Ive had the stainless tips for 2 years! I think it was a great addition to the truck. Yes they are even, I think its just the angle i took the pic at

Im open to any input to help this along!!!

Updates! Updates! Updates!

Now I installed a non bottom end knocking engine!

Ended up deciding on a Thrush 25" long glass pack, Sounds really good I think.

Had some troubles removing the old clutch fan, so I siad heck with it and went electric. Still working on being 100% happy with it, but its a start.

And last but not least, I acquired and installed some American racing rims with 31x10.5x 15 Firestone Destination M/T's. Trimmed the valance and air dam ever so slightly and I have a leveling kit on its way.

Leveling kit is now installed!! Doing the alignment after work tomorrow, but kind of eye balled it to be close for the short drive to work. Looks pretty close, but the computer will tell me how close my guess was!!! Im thinking about letting a buddy of mine do some airbrushing on the tailgate, if you havent noticed from the pics that paints seen better days!!

Been a while since I updated this, still been doing stuff to the Ranger. Just havent had a whole lot of time to hop on to update the thread. Ive been scoring a decent amount of free/cheap stuff over the summer and had it off road a time or 2. So first pics are some quick pics and a vid of some of the fun Ive had!

Im in the process of helping a kid 4.0 swap his bronco 2 and he's handed me everything that he had that he wasnt gonna use with his setup or came from his donor truck that he didnt need. So in no order Ive now got dual shock hoops and shocks for the front, a non dented front fender, the bed rails, steering stabilzer, and other odds and ends. On top of that I got vent visors off of a Ranger we were sending to auction at work and some metal perfect for custom bumpers on the ranger.

Started installing the shocks and hoops today, have the passenger side to do yet. But to me the driver side was the hardest because of brake lines and other components in the way. The ladder bars in the pics will not work on the ranger as they were made for a bronco 2, but dont worry they are not going to go to waste. My plan with them now is to use parts to make longer radius arms. This peticular aftermarket stuff is James Duff just for a FYI!!! So its quality. First order of business was to repaint from the orange color some one had painted them!!!

Oh ya and a completely straight working tailgate!!!

Thats a quick over view of my summer fun!! Enjoy!
