94 ranger won't start

I have a 1994 ford ranger 4.0l. recently I replaced the clutch and a few things in the transmission. When I took the transmission off, I also took the starter off. Got it back together and it started fine on first start up. Than couple days later, It wouldn't start. I have power, but all I hear is a click and thats about it. When I got back from school the same day, it started up just fine. Thinking it was all good, than two days later, it wouldn't start again. Help me out guys please! Im stuck right now!

Usually when it just clicks it means you have a bad connection somewhere. Maybe something loosened up when you had the starter off
