i just bought a 94 supercab and theres no spare tire or jack. if theres a jack that came in them stock, where should it be? it looks like it should be behind the rear passenger fold-down seat?
I'm not completely sure about the Gen3's, but my mother has a '90 Ranger extended cab and it's in a cubby hole right under/behind the passenger side jump seat.
So.. quite it's quite possible that the guy sold it to you without knowing it didn't have a jack.
I say go ask him if he still had it, or removed it and would give it to you.
You got it. Behind the passenger jump seat. The lug wrench goes under it. If you're replacing it from the boneyard, be sure to get the hold-down bracket and retaining bolt.
you want to buy mine? i carry a 4 ton bottle jack. my first truck came with the jack handle in the bed. it took me a while to figure out where it was supposed to go.
wal-mart sells a handy little 2-ton bottle jack for $10. its not exactly heavy duty, but its much better than the stock jack and makes a fine emergency-use jack.
i dont know how you feel about the Hi-lift Murder wepon, i use that and i have my stock one as a spare...you can get a hi lift for 70 to 100$ and a 20$ lug wrench. if you go that route id spend the cash for the locking mount for the hi lift
