anyone have a good lead on a replacement? don't need the cd player - just am/fm.

Salvage yards typically have a ton of OEMs, cheap.
Carry your old one in to match up.
Plug it in in their parking lot for an op check, roll on.

If you find one, don't try to replace it by yourself because Ford really do some screwy things to the wiring in their vehicles.

I replaced mine a couple years ago and it fit right in the dash no issues.
Even have a single CD player in it.
I'll see if I can find the one I put in.It's nice to have the clock as well.
Had to bypass the factory amp.,but it still has plenty of power. Check online for radio speaker and harness info. The wires are color coded so it makes it pretty easy.
I got the box with 4 speakers in it as well.
Expect to spend a long afternoon getting the wires right.

Very simpilar to this:

?

Rangers have very traditional radio configurations. Nothing but a few wires to match up.

Ya know this is what I was going to ask as well on my 94. I just got an Sirius/XM kit for my ranger but cannot plug it into the old radio since it doesn't have an input jack thingy. Gotta get a new radio just to listen to the Sat. radio...sucks. This thread helps me, thanks!
