my 94 ranger 4.0L is hesitatting at idle and... well pretty much when ever it is running. could it be a vacum leak or somthing with the computer.. anyone had this problem? and how can i fix it.. getting about half the fuel milage and is is brutal for power.

When was the last tune up?

I'd also have to ask the same question.

Mileage on the vehicle in question too....

Also wondering if it could be the lower intake acting up as well. Is the CEL on?

well changed the plugs and wires, oil etc.... about 2 months ago.and one day it just started running shitty. also my alternator gauge flickers every once in while.

try the 02 sensors

Um, don't try the O2 sensors. They aren't terribly likely to cause this issue, and so unless you have a better reason to suspect them, they shouldn't be on the list of likely suspects.
