Hi, This is the first post here from me but not the last. Alright to get to the point. I am asking where i could find a good set of rear leaf spring front mounts. If you don't understand that, The rear leaf springs but only the front mount to the frame. It snapped off while offroading. I want to find a good set. In other words strong set. I know where to get stock replacement but rather not go with that. Also need a transmission for it. Automatic A4LD. Unless you guys could tell me why it will go into reverse but not into drive without reving the engine. It slides into drive after reving it a few times. I dropped the pan to check out the selector selenoid. Nothing out of the norm. I figured bands possibly. or the o rings on the selenoid not creating enough pressure.

Honestly, there is nothing wrong with replacing them with OEM, either from the stealership or a parts store such as carquest. If you insist on something beefier, you might want to look into something of the half-ton variety such as from an F150 or a Silverado, although this will most likely result in you having to drill new holes in either the brackets or the frame itself. The other, and more difficult option would be to make your own, but this hinges on the amount of time/fabrication skill that you have. Hope this helps...

Leafspring mounts don't normally just break simply from hard use, it was most likely rusting through, then finally broke away.

As already said, just replace it with another stock one. Use 7/16" or 1/2" grade 8 bolts to replace the rivets.
