I got a problem my knuckle for my ranger on both sides are shot where the brake pads ride. They click over bumps rattle and look like theyre gonna fly out. Any suggestions on what to do or where i can get them cheap that be great. I wanted to use a 98 knuckle cuz the caliper setup is differnt but i dunno that if that would work. :icon_confused: its for 94 ford ranger supercab two wheel drive 5 speed with 2.3

I ran into a similar problem with mt 87' 4x4. The ears had eroded away from use and corrosion. I cleaned them up as good as possible with a wire wheel and added about 1/8"-3/16'' ( 2 passes) to each ear. Then reshaped with a 4" grinder. Took about an hour a side and cost me a total of zero dollars. The JY knuckles were $50 a side and did'nt look much better than what I had to start with. I also own a 98' and the front suspension is completly different.

You want to use a 97 knuckle because the caliper setup is different, but will be easy to put on your truck. You will need everything.
