94 Ranger floor mat advice?

The three best options I can find are

1. Ford 6L5Z-1313300-A floor mats on Amazon (but it says they are for 2007-10 Rangers),

2. factory OEM carpet floor mats (93-02) on ebay, or

3. Husky brand Heavy Duty semi-universal ITEM# 51071.

Any advice out there? I'm afraid the 1. and 3. options won't fit perfectly and I don't really want to do 2. since it's carpet.

Thanks in advance! (Fyi, it's a manual transmission)

I bought 4 rubber mats for 5-10 bucks on ebay. You can cut them to size. They have many "cut points" you can cut to perfectly contour to your ranger.

I forget what brand my floor mats are, but they're a universal fit that was bought for my old Ford Focus. They were a bit big for it, but they fit the Ranger quite nicely. I've only got front mats, but since I rarely have anybody sitting in the back jump seats, that's not a big deal. I'll try to grab a couple of pictures, and see if flickr will allow third party hosting to post them tomorrow or Saturday.

They're not an exact fit, but they work well, and they fit pretty close.

I have a set of Ford Authorized (Like Ford logo and all) that I bought at a parts chain like 15 years ago. They fit well, held up well, and are about due to be replaced as they are showing their age. The driver's side is starting to crack and they seem to be stiffer than normal in really cold weather.

Well, drat. I drove the truck twice today (four times if you count the return trip), but I totally forgot to grab pictures of my mats for you. I'm going out tomorrow, so I'll see if I can remember.

I prefer the thin rubber mats because it seems like the ones with the deep groves gather more crud and junk. I have think rubber ones in mine and they are a breeze to clean. Plus they stay in place good and don't take up much space. I wear size 12 shoes and have a sweet foot shaped gas pedal on mine so extra space is a must. I had some top of the line Michelin floor mats and didn't like them. They always had dirt or mud or snow in them and my feet would catch on them all the time. That's just my opinion.

That's the whole point of the thick rubber mats, though. They hold the water and dirt in. All that water and dirt isn't on my carpet, it's in the mat. It's also not on my pant leg. But, that's my opinion. YMMV.

10 bucks for 2 of these and 2 small mats for the back seats (which I don't have). Ebay special. Straight from China! Hold up well though.

floor mats

Weather tech advised me not to put their contoured , digital mats , in my 2010 ranger Sport, because of the lack of carpet to grip on . they will slip around and jam under the pedals.

As long as they have teeth/grips on the bottom that kinda dig in the carpet, you'll be good.
