Hey guys, I'm new to this site so not sure how this all works yet. I've been having some undercarriage rattle that I believe is coming from drivetrain area. I'm having a hard time pinpointing it exactly. I just had my clutch replaced and the rattling seemed to have went away but it's back now only slightly quieter. It sounds like metal on metal rattling. If anyone has any ideas let me know please. I'm stuck on it possibly being a input or output shaft bearing or possibly the transfer case. I know my ujoints are most likely stock but I'm not getting any signs that those are going bad. Also it only rattles when my truck is in motion, accelerating, coasting, maintaining speed. It doesn't do it when idling. Clutch can be engaged and disengaged and it'll still make the sound. I can also throw it in neutral driving down the road and it'll make the noise. I've been dealing with this for months now and this ghost noise has been driving me crazy.
