Hello all,
I have a 94 Ranger 2.3L. I noticed today after awhile of neglect, that there is a vacuum line that is disconnected near the battery. One end of this hard plastic hose goes to the bottom of the Throttle Body. The other end which ends near the battery is hooked up to nothing.
My Haynes manual defines this hose as the 'Canister Purge Hose'. After some more online searches, there's supposed to be a Canister Purge Valve/Solenoid somewhere near my driver side headlight. Well I can't physically see this brass canister, but I do see another hard plastic hose running to that area, that runs all along the driver side wall that goes into the firewall. I'm totally confused and have no idea where this is supposed to be connected.
Any help would be great. If pictures are needed I can get them.
