Got 94 ranger 3.0 auto 7.5 rear 3.73 D 35 up ft. auto hubs unknown T-case elect. shift. Dont get me wrong Ive been wheeling a few yrs now. Got a 93 Jeep Grand. 94 Explorer. Have had Jeep chorkee 95- 88 bronco II All are Great Bronco II pulled my Jeep out more than once.Xlant wheeler. Now my girlfriend got (2 days ago) a 94 Ranger Took it out lightweight wheeling Thing is embarasing her 97 Escort dose just as good. Something,s wrong. It dose need lower ball joints. @ has some small prob. What do you think? Im thinking ft hubs enguage sometimes ? Need help Thank You Alan

I would venture a guess it's the auto hubs. A swap to manual hubs should take care of it.

go with the mile markers, cheaper than the warns and hold up for me just as good.

Mile Markers are fine for occasional and light 4x4 use, I bought them for my sploder since it was just a DD. Warns are a lot stronger and should be used if you actually plan on wheeling.

Ya thanks Im looking into it. Man alot of differant $$ for same parts.Somewhere on here tech I think part #s for conv kit. seperatly for 3.99 Big diff from 60.00 Warn hubs go for 175.00 to 250.00 plus conv kit.--- Looking at mm hubs also saw superwinch hubs

if you but the superwinch hubs if you don't care let me know if you like them i was wanting to try them but my factory's are still going:icon_thumby:

just go to a junk yard and get some manual hubs and the axle nuts you will ned a special tool for get the nuts off. you need the tool for the dana 44. to get your stock ones off you will need the tool for the dana 35

Will do countryboy This weekend I ll get something. Wanna wheel. Thanks to all for advice. Love this site. Maybe my Exp.8.8 in the back an Jeeps dana30 up front. Dont think girlfriends up for that.Should get her the tracker. Keep ranger myself

Same tool for D35 & D44 (for manual hubs anyway, auto hub tools are different)

Agreed, get the Warns if it's going to be wheeled much offroad. If bigger tires and a locker are in the future, you may want to even go a step further and get the Warn Jeep hubs talked about here.

Ask railman how good the mile markers are...went wheelin in turkey bay, one of his imploded (broke internally)...He went out and bought warns, haven't had a prob since
