Well thanks man. ya I just tried to include a bunch of random stuff with pics so people could follow and understand it.
Because you have a manual transfer case then you can get all your parts from a 2wd or 4wd ranger. You can get the wiring harness and ecm from a manual or auto to run with your manual tranny. You can run a manual tranny off of an auto computer just not the other way around.
If I were you I would shoot for a 92 donor... the 90 and 91 are said to have 5 less hp and the 93 and 94 have a little different wiring that would require some more thought. But you could mix and match years also...
You going to keep your fm-146 tranny? I kept mine just because I didnt want to buy another one and mine was rebuilt 20k ago.
The shock towers where not hard to install... however you have to modify the coil bucket and cut of the stock shock mount from it. Then you have to reinforce the coil bucket so you will need to do some welding. So for someone who has never welded or fabricated I guess it would be pretty difficult.
I will post some pics and more details if you want.

Let me know if I can help with anything else!
oh and don't worry about the English haha My grammar is terrible because I don't feel like pressing the backspace button when I hit a wrong button. lol
