hey guys,
Been Rangerless for a few years now and am looking at picking up a pre-97 ranger here soon. It would be for a mostly off road truck and I would keep my DD so i can have fun with the ranger. My buddy has a 94 F150 he has been wanting to sell and has offered me a great deal. I had a D44 ttb swap on the plan for the new ranger, so i could use the ford ttb i believe with new brackets. and then would swap the engine.
Does the f150 5.0 make a good candidate for an engine swap? I need to go check it out and see the specifics, try and figure out what tranny he has, and if its efi or carb'd. he couldn't remember and didn't look under the hood.
anyone with experience please chime in
