94 Explorer parts in a 88 bronco II

It is possible to mount the explorer pump to the 2.9 sending unit.

I pulled a sending unit and pump from the 94 explorer, and it fit right in the 88 tank. The wiring connector is different as well as how the fuel lnes connect, but I am changing over to the explorer wiring harness so it won't be that big of a deal. It should work great.
