i have a 94 ranger super cab 4x4, everything i see on here say that dual piston started in 95, but i have dual piston, also i checked in the tech library and alan d said that in 95 the pads were held in by the caliper mounting bracket, which mine is. so i need to order new pads and all, what year do i get them for? my friend owned the truck before me, replaced the pads with 94 pads and it seems like the pads only use 3/4 of the rotor, the inner edge has rust and no wear

i also have the adjustable steering stop nut and bolt that allan says started in 95. to my knowledge the truck is stock, but i do see that the drivers side took a hit so its possible the front axle was replaced.

what month in '94 was your truck built (the door sticker will tell you).

sounds like its a model year '95.

ok i figured it out yesterday, looked at my axle id, its a 97 dana 35. wish my friend that owned it before me knew that when he replaced the brake pads lol. now the rotors are shot.

The rotors are not shot just because of some surface rust, just have them turned.

depends on how much wear the rotor has, if it's within tolorances have it turned as stated above. you have to pull them anyway whether you turn 'em or replace 'em

what kinda pads u goin for? i get a 20% discount on all items at my store including pads n rotors. let me know
