94 b4000 axle swap/offroad build

I'm stuck in a pickle, I cant decide if i wanna start from scratch with explorer or if i wanna throw an extended cab on my frame kyle M. there is an extended cab 2wd with the m5od so i could do hybrid thingy, not to mention that i could keep my hylift mount contraption.

Body swap? just like kyle.

so it look's like everyone like's the body swap. Kyle how long is your bed. im wondering if I would still be able to throw a bike back there or not?

so with the tailgate dropped i should be able to still squeeze two bike's in there.

welp. Might be the fact that this truck see's alot of mud but my 3 of my 6 heim's are SHOT. bushing's in my rusty's arm's are shot, and a rear shock is sheared off the axle.
Temp gauge stoped working, I am trying to justify spendin money on this setup when i have a pair of axle's sittin in the garage, however it's gonna cost me more to install the fullwidth's then fix what's wrong with this setup. however the fullwidth's definately wont be runnin Heim's for steering that's for sure. think ive put around or just over 1000 mile's on it since the swap. think they should last longer than that?

I Really need to get some motivation to swap out the axle's on this thing. between remodeling project i have goin on, work, the kid on the way and everything else that fall's onto my calander. Oh yeah and i want to swap the ext cab as well. I have my work cut out for me that's for sure.

Ar the bushings in the arms greaseable? All of mine are and I see a long life ahead of them. How good of a name are the heims you got? I know that there are rebuildable ones out there, think on balisticfab.

all my steering part's are QA1 joint's, non greasable. as for the long arm's the johni joint's are greasable but the rubber bushing on the axle end are not. when i swap the axle out (again) I'm not sure if i am gonna try and use the rusty's arm's, even tho they have held up nicely structuraly. i have a feelin if i swap the bushing's for some poly one's they would last longer. but it's all up in the air right now. hopefully i can order my gear's and install kit soon. i allready have all the service part's i.e. balljoint's and what not. i have a feelin I will be wheelin the D30 again next year with how late in the winter it is allready. i have alot of other priority's right now.

BTW the johni's are still good (rebuildable if necisarry) just the lower rubber axle bushing's are shot.

so i was runnin some 37's on the dana 30 for winter wheelin. didnt say anything on here cuz of all the flamin i woulda got. anywho i have two of the four swaped onto my free wheel's for the fullwidth's axle's are startin to go back together. should be startin to swap them in mid to late next week depending on when my part's arrive. need to pick up all my brakr part's for the 9'' this weekend. will be gettin all new brake's from the backing plate out. thought of going disc's but truthfully never really had a problem with drum's. i take it apart and clean them more than enough. still need to get front hub's,rotor's caliper's and lockout's. here's some pic's of the tire's all mounted up.

i'm good with donations! lol

duuude your mazda's baad i hope i can get mine that sick someday.. so you cut out the body on the truck bed for storage thats sick do u have some recent pics of what it looks like now? its a good idea

sorry 4.0 the rusty's will be utilized on the fullwidth as well. just ordered most of the bracket's tonight. knowing ballistic they should be here in bout a month or two. I really wish ruff stuff had the bracket's I was lookin for. I also ordered rear spring perche's and shock tab's while I was on there. should be ordering my upper mount's tomorow from Rusty's. need the account to refuel a little (comission goes in tomorrow).

instead of ordering the jeep bracket's i ordered these which should push the front axle forward a little more. i'll still have a minor angle to the spring's but i'm ok with that.

as for the rest it's pretty typical stuff.

the truck doesnt look a whole lot different now cept a little older, couple more dent's and scratche's. as for the storage in the box side I love it. altho i have yet to get wedged up against a tree on that side and need the highlift. hopefully whoever I am with has one. when i do my cab swap i dont really know what i'm gonna do bout this. but i would like to retain it if not make more on the opposite side for my 8 ton cable puller. and other needed trail stuff.

these are from early winter sometime (hence no 37's)
