94 b4000 axle swap/offroad build

i need your long arms for the d30!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol, wanna sell them?

That's what im gonna do. You stated above i should rebuild the axle. i typed that wrong it shoulda stated 300$ for bearings alone. i plan on goin over it slappin some economy pad's on it and throw it in. i prolly wont even paint it.

as for the long arm's i'll be runnin them for now. if i do go back to TTB eventually i will be lookin at sellin them cuz i am just gonna build my own arm's for the 44

i'm thinking about coping the rubi express long arms, one of my buddies has them on a jeep that lives locally here, i was just gonna copy them to save money.. i can't afford $700 on arms... i'd use extended radius arms like Maverick b4 buying the arms.

i would personally look at the arm's that dangerranger and excort are usin.

Got the pm and one is returned.

The front axle is out just gotta switch out shaft's and it will be ready to go back in.

if you got all that money, throw chromo's in it... lol

and i'm actually thinking maverick's build may be what i follow. i'm also gonna look and see what Rough Country has on long arms... b/c i'll get a discount there from my local offroad club.

all what money???
with the kid on the way I have to find way's to sneak money into my truck. and most of the money i am spending on truck's is goin tword's the fullwidth's

idk... i just figured someone has to have it somewhere... b/c it aint in my pocket lol

no no i definately dont have all the money. I was stoked to find 8 buck's in an old jacket pocket today (jumping up and down excited).

I like maverick's build look's pretty sweet. I take it you want to stay factory width and bolt pattern. after lookin at alot of build's i have seen some fullwidth's that are only slightly wider than stock and are much stronger. and then you wouldnt have to weld the c's to the 30 and all that horse puckey.

i'd like it to be stockish.. mainly b/c i already have everything for my explorer 8.8 build... i wanna match it. and the ease of the swap. i wheel with a lot of jeeper's so i know what the d30 will do.. i'd love to do a d44, but i can't find a stock d44 and gear it for the price i'm getting a semibuilt d30 ($150).. the d44 would require at least spacer's and adapters on my 8.8

one more bonus to wheelin with jeep guy's is spare tire'

this spring i was wheelin with a bunch of guy's in jeep's and had two fullsize spare's. no one else even had a fullsize. We ended up needing them both. unfortunately it didnt count cuz they both ended up on my truck.

And spare parts to a d30 if I go that route! Lol

One thing about the longarms I am using is they are solid steel, not hollow on the inside. I cant see me ever breaking the arms I have. All the joints are greasable (except the mounts to the top of D30 axle). I saved up 2 months to buy mine and thats working a min. wage job ($7.25 an hour).

Thats what I was saying, $300 for bearings alone, your getting raped by your parts store. It would cost me $200 if I went with a good set from autozone. Buy one at a time to get two more points to a $20 rewards credit. Plus I never have to pay for brakes again, they have a limited life time warrenty on them.

so it all comes back down to i might as well buy the longarms.. i know.. i know.. i'm just complaining about the price lol

You can't put a price on safety.
