94 a4ld in 2.9L knocking

I recently rebuild the tranny and it seems to knock in second gear. I can hear it when in drive at 25mph and when I put it in second. In first I don’t hear it. One other issue is now I can’t find overdrive and yes the linkage is hooked up correctly which is strange. I also adjusted the bands. Any advice is appreciated!

Sure its the trans?

Either way, it could be a busted flywheel or a torque converter on its way out, id lean toward the converter.

Exactly how would I know which one I replaced them both when installing it

Are you sure you tightened the torque converter bolts?

The four nuts I put threadlocker on them and tightened them to 35ft lbs. I hear it in park at a certain rpm and mainly in second.
