i was looking at my truck yesterday and found a few vaccuum issues, its a 94 4.0. there is small hard plastic lines with bigger rubber ends, and some of the ends are missing, can i change the entire hose to all rubber and obviously the hose would be bigger in the middle instead of the thin plastic pieces without messing anything up?

Vacuum is vacuum.

The only reason they probably made it out of hard plastic was to make it rigid enough to stay out of the way. So run the rubber hose and make sure it's out of the way and not rubbing on anything or laying on anything hot, etc.

^^ Yep Ranger44 is right. Go down to your local parts store, grab a few feet of vacume line, make sure you get the right size they should all be the same. And then replace each vacume line seperatly. I always like to have some as spare, it has come in handy!!!

thanks for the help guys, im gonna change them all tonight. damn modulator valve on the trans ruined all my vaccuum lines lol
