94 4.0 hesitates off idle

The truck has a killer hesitation when you floor it. it revs up after a second though. I need to figure this out ASAP because im entering a tuff truck comp. tommorrow. ANY HELP OR IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!!

oh yeah, theres no Check Engine Light on, and it will rev up slowly just not when you stomp on the throttle.

Throttle position sensor, TPS. Slight chance of a plugged fuel filter.

well, little update, i got 4th place!!!! against mud trucks and such in my stock 94!!!!
