So, here's my story. My daughter's 16th birthday is coming up in July and I have been putting this truck together for her. I found a 94 ranger shortbox with a great body and blown engine. I found a donor 94 with a great engine and crap body. Swapped the motor over to the good body. Well, I got the motor in and mounted and thought, I have months, I will get around to hooking it all up later. Put most of the parts in a bin and shoved the ranger out the door to work on some other projects. (I have a 95 Z28 convertible that takes up a pile of my time and $$ and I am working on shoehorning a CBR600 engine into a golf cart...but I digress...)

As the Z28 went into the shop this week for paint, I thought I would start to piece the Ranger back together. I find I am missing some parts. They have been moved around so many times in the shop, I can't find some of them.

Basically, I am looking for whatever attaches to the 2 fuel connectors shown in this pic.

Can someone upload a pic of their complete assembly so I know what I am looking for with this?

Thanks for your help with this. I am sure I will be back for more advice as I go...

On my 94 B4000 it is a pair of braided steel pressure lines but they have thread on connectors at the fuel rail and the quick connects are down near the steering box on the frame. I checked my photo collection but don't have a close up of the fuel lines. I went out and snapped what my setup looks like. I am fairly sure your parts look similar but the ends are reversed.

Female End (looks like the connector on your fuel rail)

Male end (What I presume the end of your fuel lines will look like)

Fuel rail (Mine has threaded connectors where yours has the female quick connects)

I hope these photos help...

doesnt get much better than that, panama. great pics!

Assuming you didn't remove the fuel lines from the truck, start underneath and trace them forward.

Awesome, thanks guys! I will have a look after work tomorrow and see what I can find.

You are very welcome. I have had those "How did this go?" questions several times doing my rebuild. Most of the time someone has come to my rescue very quickly. TRS is a great resource and the folks here though sometimes a bit harsh are generally a great bunch of guys.

Need anything else... Just ask.

Seems I cut the hoses off underneath the charcoal canister. Any idea where I put em in my shop? :bawling:

Ha...up in the mezzanine I go, searching for parts... DOH!

Hey WTP, don't listen to Panama, we're not harsh. We're just not as good as him with painting our engines as purtty as his. Except for SnoRanger. Welcome to TRS.
