93 trans in a 92

Hey everyone. I found a 92 V6 ranger with a manual transmission for sale. The guy says it has no 2nd or 5th and he has a 93 transmission to go in it but the bellhousing needs to be swapped because the starter is located on the other side. Is this correct or did he get the wrong transmission. I have read on here that they are all interchangable. Thanks for the help.
