93 supercab xlt 3.0

Hi, all. New to the site. Found it while looking for answers. I bought a 93 3.o for my son, who is turning 16. The motor was quite unsteady at idle, and I found a faulty motor mount. Changed both motor mounts and tranny mount. Shake is still there, although greatly reduced. New plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Still there. 0 compression on one cylinder. All others ok. That plug was wet and smelled like fuel; all 5 others were ashen colored and worn. Smog test failed with 1600 ppm hydrocarbons present in exhaust. Motor seems otherwise fine. Under acceleration motor smooths out and runs great. I've only had the truck for 2 weeks, so I don't have any fuel consumption info. I've been told burnt intake valve ( although you can't hear that) and also, a stuck injector causing cylinder "washout" which seems more logical. Any help will be appreciated.

Forgot to mention, I was told to saturate a paper towel with oil from the dipstick and see if it smells like fuel. Faintly, but it does. Told this was also indicative of a stuck injector, as is the fact that i have no CEL on either.

Heard tonite that I should try doing a leakdown test with comptressed air. I can try that this coming weekend, but I am wondering if there is a test to judge the condition of the injector in question without too much disassembly? Again, any help will be appreciated.
