Hey,

I have a 1993 Ranger 4x4 that Im rebuilding, it has sat outside for 2 years. It has manual hubs with auto push button for high or low four wheel drive. Now when I push the button nothing happens. How do I check the electric motor on the transfer case? Or could I put a manual transfer case in place of it??

look in the tech library and theres a service walk through on the motor, also trouble shooting tips for the push button system

I know my 90 Ranger XLT has had the same issue my computer control box was behind the driver seat under the passenger seat in the back, I would check the fuse as I have seen it blow 1 or 2 times.
