93 ranger v8 swap

im am about to undertake a v8 swap on a 93 ranger...my question is what carburetor to use and is there any potential clearance issues with the steering box

street demon carb is a good carb setup and yes you will have clearance issues with the oil filter and gear box you will need to buy a oil filter relocate kit I bought mine from summit for 80 and the next issue you will have is with the headers if you decide to use mustang shorty headers you will have to notch the passenger side frame to make it fit in the chassis and some peope say you need to do something with the heater box but I didn't bc my tuck did not have a/c

Plus...will it pass emissions in your state?? Got to think about that unless it is just offroad only.
