93 ranger engine swap

Hello friends , I had a quick question , I have a 3.0 93 ranger . And I want to swap engines , so I want to buy this 93 ranger with a better body frame . But that ranger is a 2.3L would it work if I put the 3.0 into the 2.3?

You can do that swap but you will need to use your 3.0 transmission as well and probably the wiring harness and some other things. It is not as simple as removing the 2.3 and dropping the 3.0 in.

Yes, you can do that swap but as said you need to swap transmission as well, and Computer with engine wiring harness
Not a simple swap but certainly doable

Whats wrong with the 1993 2.3l?
Outside of it being a 4cyl?

It might be better to wait for a 1991-1994 3.0l Ranger, with good body and frame, and bad engine or trans, to come around, much easier swap
