Hi everyone I am new to this forum, but i have used the tech lib many times. Love This Site!!!! I am hearing a popping or clicking noise when I turn left. Nothing too bad, but just wanted to know if it could be hubs, ball joints or cv joints(u joints). I had it in 4x4 in the snow and then after i turned it off it still made the noise. It is doing it almost everytime i turn, but not every time and only when I am moving not when stopped. Any help would be great!!!
Thanks Rob

Check your u joints. I just had one go bad and had to replace it. Also do you have manual or auto hubs?

Mine pops occasionally, I know the passenger axle is shot. Working on getting one, money is short, so have save a little more. My question is: do these u-joints come out like on the drive shaft, or do we need a press like on ball joints?

They come out (more or less) like the driveshaft, except the circlips are in a different spot. But it's quite hard to get them removed with the axles installed, due to access.
