So how do I go about checking them is there a list of all the ground wires and there location.

@amymartin
To locate all the engine bay is very simple; start at any point you like and look for wires attached with fasteners to your firewall, inner fenders and the panel across in front of the radiator. Disconnect them one at a time, then clean both the ground surface, the fastener and the washer.

The hardest to get at but easiest to indentify are the main grounds from the the battery and starter.

Remove all paint, primer, grime, rust and goop from the points of contact...then go-to the next one ..)

Also just found out I have spark and fuel is working properly.
If you have spark and fuel, then you don’t have compression or the timing is off.

if you have spark for sure and it dont pop with starting fluid, take a look at the plugs.

i suspect it is out of fuel or the fuel is bad or contaminated...high water content or something....which could also plug injectors. or foul the plugs enough ether wont dry em out.

otherwise wiped compression ... cam failed or chain....but cranking would be odd.

the codes indicate bad ecm or partially failed power branch.

was it running and just quit? or sitting for an excessive time period?

Yes it was running and just quit and it has also been sitting for a while after it quit because we haven't been able to get it running.

Thank you and it was painted at home before so I will make sure I clean them good.

I have found what I believe to be a fuel injector connector that one of the 2 wires have been melted and exposed do you think that would be my issue with the current codes sounding electrical. Also I am getting a 111 code at the end of the test doesn't that mean system check ok if so then it couldn't be the ecm could it.

This is the wire I mentioned and the location of it

If the 12volt wire there was touching the engine, I could see that preventing the injectors from firing.

Replacing the connector end should be all I need to repair it correct.

Also just confirming that is a fuel injector connector isn't it lol.

Hard to see in the picture. But the injector connectors are on each individual injector, right below the fuel rail.

Quick question I managed to get to the injector behind this first one and the two wires are exposed and twisted up together would there be a good chance that is my whole problem
