Is anybody running Skyjacker Black Max shocks on a 2wd?

Oreilly's shows the following options

Front: B8552
Extended Length: 15.69 Inch
Collapsed Length: 10.02 Inch
Range: 0 To 2 Inch Lift

Rear: B8558
Extended Length: 24.84 Inch
Collapsed Length: 14.82 Inch
Range: 0 To 3.5 Inch Lift

Funny thing, the Skyjacker site only shows fitment for 4wd...

I default to Bilstein B6 on my fullsize trucks, but i have a feeling they might be too stiff for the little guy.
Considering the investment would be close to what i paid for the truck... I'd rather not roll the dice (the future of this truck is unclear).

Figure a hydraulic shock would be worth a shot, as i enjoy a more "floaty" feel.
i don't tow, and the only "offroad" activity would be driving slowly around my property, so i'm not concerned with fade.

Thoughts?
