I wonder if anyone knows the size of the transmission pan bolt.

Today, I found the transmission pan is missing a few bolts. The others still on are not torqued properly. No wonder, my transmission pan is all wet and I would notice some leaks when parked on an incline. (AT fluid and filter was change by a garage where people I work with before bring their vehicles)

It is my daily driver right now, I would prefer not to remove anymore bolts.
thanks

Removing one more bolt to go get the correct ones won't hurt any. But I believe they are a 8x1.25 thread and about 1/2 inch long.

Thanks for the insight. I was thinking the same after seeing a set of 18 is about $6.00 + s/h.

This is what happens when you let reputation speak for itself. I always tried to go back on what mechanics work on my truck to make sure everything is put back correctly, sloppy work putting back things can be corrected before it becomes another problem like kinked cables, chapping wire harnesses. No missing bolts or tightened correctly as they have habits of snugging them up and forgetting to go back to it.
