Does anybody know of any places to purchase or buy this hood other than this link? My truck got keyed so im pulling it off the road and getting the whole truck painted with a molded roll pan shaved tailgate, hopefully this hood and an edge front bumper.... and 4" lift! Thoughts?

There is no link so Im not sure what hood your talking about. If youre just talking about a regular replacement hood you can probably get one from a salvage yard

Thats It! I'd rather spend around $500-$600 with shipping. does anybody know of a place that sells hoods reasonable.... this is the best i"ve found!

Try this place. They are close enough that you can pick it up.

Thanks snoranger... I actually bought a hood for my 90 ranger from them.... hence the first truck on the page(the red one). Im not sure if i like the hood they off for the 3rd gen, its a terrible picture. Maybe ill get on rob to send me some better pics. But thanks anyway!

ive got a 01-03 edge hood thats primered for 200obo.

I think you'll just have to stick with what's in the link. Got my own carbon fiber hood from octanemotorsports.com myself. They were very attentive with what I needed. Totally worth the price. I still have my hood for 2 years now.

I ran into problems with molding my roll pan into the bed and having a flexy lifted truck.

Expect the rollpan to crack everywhere when you flex it out. It's happened to me numerous times now.

I would just get a fake air induction cowl or what ever its called and have it glassed in your hood at the body shop

JC Whitney has cowl hoods for less than 200 bucks. I would avoid fiberglass because the engine heat will cause them to crack the paint over time.
