I installed a brand new 4.0 in a 93 ranger. Sent it to the dyno, was running fine, then just shut off without warning or noise. While spinning the engine over it sounds like it is firing at the wrong time.( sounds like it is sputtering in the exhaust) I checked cam timing, compression is good, and plug wires are correct. Any help on this problem would be appreciated.

Is there away to test the coil pack to make sure it is getting power or did the PCM get messed up? Will the motor turn over but just not run?

The coil packs seems to be working fine,(I have spark) not sure if it is firing in the correct sequence. I'm not sure how to check that. Yes, the motor spins over but does not start.
