I have a 93 3.0 extened cab 4x4 ranger
It will not start
All these I checked and are ok:
Firering order
spark
fuel pump/fuel
compession
and intake track

Engine will only want to stubble with throttle wide open (WOT), I tried starting fluid with no change.

Please HELP what am I missing????

Are the injectors firing?
Timing chain?

What happened to get it to not start in the first place?

I just bought the truck, its still sitting in the guys drive way, I am getting good fuel pressure at the fuel rail. I am unsure about the injectors firing, I do not have a noid and I cannot reach the left driverside bank under the manifold. Distributor rotor rotates smoothly and has little slop.

Could it be possible that the fuel emercency shut off switch need to be reset??

Check all your grounds. If one is loose and not making good enough contact it could cause this.

if it wont run on starting fluid, then that means there is a spark or compression issue. there may be fluid issues as well, but id start looking at what we KNOW is wrong.

pull a plug and ground it to see if you have spark at the plug.

I just had the truck towed up to my house, and checked the timing. It is not off it is at TDC (Top Dead Center). Found out though that the power steering is seized up and have to get a new one. Could it be possible that it may be a blown head gasket?

Dist. Cap is new as well as the plugs and wires. From finding out that the power steering pump is ceased up, could that possibly cause the truck to not start and stumble?

Maybe, but only if the stumbling was accompanied by a rather nasty acrid smell. It may or may not squeal.

You can remove the serpentine belt and start and run the engine (stone cold) for a few seconds. As long as the cooling system is full, it will be OK for a short time. No longer than you absolutely need, though, as this will disable the water pump.

After hours a day messing with the truck, I want to thank everyone for their sugesstions. I found a hidden kill switch on the truck, got rid of that and the truck started perfectly fine. Again thank you all for the sugesstions.
