Whats the differance between the 92 dash and say a 93-94 ? I found a 92 dash thats in great shape but it says online it fits 89-92 . It looks the same , i guess it the braket behind it ?

To my knowledge it will swap. There may be firewall changes but I'd say they would be minor. The reason the Gen II dash was carried over was Ford was designing the airbag dash and wasn't done when the Gen III came about. I love that dash. It's simple, easy to work with and the best part? If the heater core goes bad you can change it in less than an hour without pulling the dash apart!

I swapped a 94 Ex dash into my 89 ranger.
Direct bolt in. Wiring was a little different. The instrument bezel has changed a little over the years and models, but they are all interchangeable. Just use your harness.

Thats what i was thinking . It looks the same to me , but wanted to check before I ordered it . Yes I love the heater core access .
