The armrest in my 92 ranger is sagging to the passenger side seat and feels loose, I unzipped the armrest cover and I can see through the foam the bolt that needs to be tightened, but the bolt head is a star pattern? Tried several different sized sockets (metric and standard) and nothing fits, does anyone know what will fit this bolt head? thanks!

what does that mean? I saw that somewhere else, but done know what it means.

its like an internal star pattern. a torx t-50, just go to a hardware store and ask for one.

I went to the auto parts store and they had it, fixed the armrest, sooo much better now, thanks alot for the help!

took me a while to find mine, i couldnt see inside the hole in the armrest, thats where a mirror came in handy!

yeah its a really narrow hole to see into, I kept thinking it looked like a bolt head and that I needed a socket, but it was the other way around!
