since the leaf springs are under the axle can i just pull the blocks to give it some lift or do i gotta do a flip kit?

are there even blocks between the leaf and axle? I've never seen an explorer with blocks there UNLESS it had a lowering kit on it.

you do realize that a flip kit is gonna net you like 5" of lift right?

yes, If it even has a block. You should take a pic. I've never seen a lowered explorer.

chrwilkins it does have blocks unless the spring perches are that big cause it looks like its a 2 inch block

well does it look like a block or a spring perch they are pretty distinguishable between eachother

as of right now i dont have a camera but i messaged the guy and he said his brother put stock ranger blocks under the back with longer u bolt so i should be able to get shorter u bolts and remove the blocks since that is how it was stock

yes. take out the block.. see if the u-bolts will tighten down, if not get shorter ones.
