i friend of mine bought a dakota for his son to drive, they've had it for almost a year now. btw, its a 92 with the 5.2 (?) v8. they met up somewhere and left the dakota parked, and when they got back it wouldnt start. i checked for fuel at the rail, theres some pressure but i dont know how much. i didnt get a chance to get a pressure gauge on it. also i can hear a relay clicking when you turn the key on, so im pretty sure that that's for fuel. the coil though... i checked for spark at the coil. nothing at all. they took the coil off and took it to autozone and had it tested,. they say it's okay. i didnt have my multimeter with me or i would have checked for power to the coil, but right now im assuming it doesnt have any? what's next to check? is there a cam or crank sensor that might be playing into this??
