92 Convertible

No, not just Chevy. I have seen other makes including Rangers. They all looked great. One S-10 I saw some years back at Daytona had a big block in it!!! Beautiful frame work and that thunder of the 427 was simply awesome!!! Big 50 series tires front and rear. 15 inch wide rims and it sat close to the ground but not like a real lowrider.

Not really a convertible, you know? It is more like a single t-top (open top) with the back window open....I don't like it. I was expecting a real convertible... I have seen real convertible trucks and they really looked cool...but they were all low rider styles with that winged look at the rear and the bed cover enclosed and wider fender flares and huge wide tires all around. Those trucks looked really neat. I guess those day are long gone now. I go to a lot of cat and truck shows and see some really neat old trucks still.

It sounds like you are talking about variations of the Truxarossa kit that made the sides of the truck look similar to the Ferrari Testarossa. As for the top in question, I have seen it once before on a first generation S10.

Yep, dealer custom job, the tag says it all that it was modified by ARC, Inc.

IIRC, that's the same kinda top that Zman had for his.

Not sure how to get ahold of Zman though, haven't seen him on the boards in awhile and I think I lost his number (if I have it, it's on one of my old phones that may or may not turn on again, lol).

*edit* IIRC (and my mind is a little fuzzy), but I think JuBean also had talked of this kind of top before... but I haven't seen JuBean in ages on here. :(

There was a company called Ratical Tops that used to do this type of stuff....
