After trying to connect my new CB power through the power suply to my radio I've come to the conclusion that I will need to go directly to the battery for power. I had origanily wanted to go through the stero power so the CB would only be on when the key is in the on or acc position.

My question is, where can I get through the firewall into the engin compartment without drilling and instaling a rubber gromit.

I thought about adding the CB to the fuse pannel under the driverside dash but I have no experience with this and don't want to screw anything up.

Any advise would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks,
Newmieo

in your fuse box find an unused slot that has power with the key on using a test light then crimp a male spade conector to the end of the hot wire and put it in the slot. i'd go to radio shack or a cb shop and get a noise supressor and put it in after your fuse for the radio or you will get engine noise or interferance from the truck's eletrical system. you can ground to any metal screw or bolt in the cab...

hope this helps...grey ghost
