Will a 1992 Ranger 4x4 rear Axle bolt rite up on a 88 4x4 Ranger?
I blew my 7.5 yesterday
need to know ASAP
Thanks !

it should, but if it is an 8.8 the drive shaft will not bolt up (easily fixed if you hafe the shaft from said 92 ranger). and make sure the gear ratios are the same.

Thanks for the info

Sounds good My rear has a 3.73 ratio I hope its the same. If not I may buy the front axle as well. If I do buy the front Axle should that bolt rite up as well?

yes but if its the dana 35 (Ibelieve you have the dana 28) your front drive shaft will need to be shortened about an inch. (again the drive shaft from the donor vehicle would be a big help).
