92-96 taurus sedan to 86-91 wagon

im looking at getting a 86-91 taurus wagon, dont know the year off hand, but it needs the door latches replaced and a few small things like shocks and stuff. the guy has a 92-96 he says i can i take all the parts that will swap since hes just going to junk it. So will the shocks swap from the wagon to the sedan, and does anyone know if i can swap the door panels over or is the wiring different for the electronics, it has power windows and locks i believe. will the front seat swap, and will the back door handles swap, also is there any difference in the mounting of the front fenders, hood and bumper.

any help would be appreciated.

The body styles changed in 1992.

So here is the break down:

1986-1991, first gen
1992-1995, second gen
1996-1999, third gen
2000-2007, fourth gen

The wagon REAR shocks are specific to the wagon, they are also however, VERY cheap.
The wiring is typically different between each generation, however I believe the physical doors themselves I believe are the same for 1st and 2nd generations.

Pretty much all the same save for its a wagon and shocks in the rear.
The transmissions are junk in the sedan or the wagon though. SO be for warned you will be rebuilding in in a couple years or could be soon after you get it. The subframe bushings are known to rot out and leave the subframe flopping in the wind as well.
Gotta pull back the carpet, and drill to get to the bolts too.
