I want to put a m-90 eaton on my 92 ranger. as far as i can see the only kit is one from thomas knight. witch if you read the forums some say that it is crap.but after days of scowering the net that is all i have been able to find.
any ideas ?

what all do you have to change to install a super. as far as tuning i can prolly fab the adaptor myself but not sure about tuning the fuel system to work correctly. theres realy not much oin the forums on that topic.

Tuning isn't difficult with a standalone computer. I've been running Megasquirt on my supercharged Ranger for quite a while now, and it's been reliable.

The basic principles of installing a blower and a turbo are the same, but mounting the supercharger requires more precision. In essence, all you're doing is forcing more air into the engine than it can take in by itself, so the usual mods are necessary:

1. Accomodate the increased air with increased fuel.

2. Limit boost, or install forged internals.

Of course, it winds up being far more complex than that. I used a mass airflow sensor mod when I first installed my 19 pound / hour injectors, but that didn't work so well once I put in my intercooler.

I would advise you learn all you can about fuel injection. It's really not that hard to wrap your mind around, and the satisfaction of running a well-tuned engine is hard to quantify.
