91 T-bird seats

For my 96 ranger...is it just switching the seat tracks from the ranger seats over to the t-bird ones? Or is there drilling etc. required for these. I saw that T-bird seats up to 88 we're jus' bolt in.

im not sure but i think they are just a matter of switching the tracks. i would sugest if you go with t-bird seats find some from a supercoupe, i loved mine and had taken them out when i scraped the car with intentions of putting them in my ranger. you just have to supply 12 volt for the electrics.

just swapping the tracks will work perfect, just as long as the actual seat isnt too wide

not sure if it was a supercoupe. Saw the seats at the local u-pullit, but waited on getting them until I knew if it would work or not. I know the driver side had adjustable seats, how would I set up the power seats in the ranger?

I pulled some seats out of a '92 T-bird. They aren't just a bolt in type thing. I'm going to have to cut part of the tracks off of the rails and make an adapter so that they will be able to bolt up to my ranger seat tracks.


It's going to be a pain in the ass at first, but it's also going to be worth it to sooth my ass when I'm on those long drives.

Ya I found the same thing out today when I went to put my new seats in. Unfortunately, I jus' dont' have the tools/knowledge to cut and piece together the tracks, so when I take my truck in for some other work this week I'm gonna have my mechanic do it for me, it'll cost me more but it'll be worth it when I get my new seats in.
