Hey All...

My truck has audio again and it sounds decent (Thanks James!).
Now the problem... when I turn the Fade control to Rear, there is no sound. Pretty sure there are no rear speakers. There are some cut wires behind the seat and I have no idea what they were for. (Who ever had the truck before me diddled with it a lot! :annoyed: )

Anyhow... did the regular cab have rear speakers... were they optional... where would they be?

I can always jury-rig something (duct tape and a coat hanger are your friends!), but I'd like to have a "reasonably" factory looking installation.

Thanks for any advice! :D

Glad that the radio is working for ya! Kinda crazy to think my radio is in CA now..

Anyway, behind the seats, do you have two boxes with one 4 inch (or so) speaker in it? In between the two, under the carpet, you will find a wire loom from the radio harness that splits in two ways. Both ways go to a plug on the speakers. If those are there, and connected it should work.

No boxes... I saw a '92 today during my foray to Pick 'n Pull and it had speakers molded into the corners of the back panel... 'bout 45 deg. aimed toward the center. Was gonna pull them, but noticed they wouldn't fit over the shoulder belt mount... it was on the outside and mine is underneath.

I do have the wiring loom and the wire colors look right, but they've been cut real short... not a biggie tho'.
