i'm sas'in a reg cab short bed, with a dana 44 and coils up front an a 9in the back. i've been on forums everywhere looking at it but i wnt any help possible.

I'm using stock coil buckets. and stock 79 f150 coils.. what should i do for the coil buckets and how the coils are going to lean in? i'm doing this on a really low budget. pictures always help to show me what you did. any helps appreciated

You could narrow the axle, put 2" spacers of some sort between each bucket and the frame, you could fab up your own buckets that sit out further.

036speed used 6"x2" channel for spacers I believe, check out his build.

BTW stock F150 coils are going to be a bit short and a bit stiff. I would go with at least a 3" lift coil and shoot for 180 to 200 ppi.

well i'm only going with the stock coils because they came with the axles i pickedthem both up for 200, i'll check his out as well.

Here's what i'm starting with

Every sas starts with the word "budget" lol. You could move the lower buckets inward with plate and just reinforce the underside of it to the housing .

The lower buckets on the wedgie style Ford axles move independently from the axle.

Well can i get some pictures by chance of all the ways you're telling me to like spacing out the buckets and moving the coil mounts and bracn on the frame?
