91 ranger cruise control

hello there. i swapped a m5r1 in my 91 4.0 ranger where there used to be a a4ld living.. now my cruise dont work anymore.. i looked all over for wiring diagrams but come up emty handed. would anyone know how i can get it back to work?

from '83-'94 Rangers had speedo cables, not sure what year they added the VSS(vehicle speed sensor) to the speedo cable hook up on the trans, but at that time the VSS was used for the cruise control, ABS and Computer, the cable was just for the speedometer gauge.

If you look in the engine compartment and the speedo cable runs directly into firewall, not to Cruise control Module, then you will have/need a VSS sensor unit on the trans.

Did you reinstall the cruise cancel/validation sw on the new brake pedal?

yes i did reinstall that. i am going to look into those wiring diagrahms thank you.
