91 ranger budget build

this is my 91 ranger build.
Baclkground: my freinds grandfather bought it in 95ish from the local ford dealer. its have 40,000 miles on it. it was an all original 91 4.0 ext cab shortbox 5 speed 4x4. he had superwinch manual hubs installed and did odd and end stuff to it while he had it (plugs wires oil whatever) at 120k he had a clutch installed. at 130k me in my freind helped him install a body lift which was last year and some 31x10.5 goodyear street terds. then about 2 months ago it came up forsale. his grandson had been running it for about 4 months and i no he was easy on it. he bought a 08 f250 and his grandfather bought an 03 f150. i asked the price and it was on 600 bucks. 136,000 new clutch and body lift. both helped with by me and also new black paint. so i bought it.

Upgrades done and to come:
now has 35x12.50 goodyear mtrs (old tread)
body lift
bucket conversion (will be swapped for better ones in the near future)
willbe getting an explorer console
extend radius arms (possiably just ones off my dually becuse i believe they ar longer and stouter)
whips
has a kenwood head unit
has a net tailgate now
intall a rollbar
and a custom extend shifter with polished vice grips (nicer then it sounds)
regear with a true trac in the rear(got a deal)
something in the front. not sure there
63's and something to level the front.
 
most the things in this build ill be making myself. i have alot of the stuff from work or junk yards. im 18 and have 4 projects so this is my budget dd.
one otherthing is a winch and custom bumpers... the picture shows why :annoyed:

clean man wish i would have found that gen instead of buying my 93. be careful with those 35s :icon_thumby:. thinkin of a tube bumper or flat steel?
 
probably tube. havent settled that out.
my shifter plans changed.... visegrips were to easy. i made one out of a 14mm socket and a 3/4 wrench with the open end cut off. ill post [ics tomarrow or thursday once its ground and buffed. it putss it 3 inches from the steering wheel in first and second for easy shifts when wheeling or dding
 
ill be trimming fenders thiss weekend. determing what seats im putting in it. probably be thinking about designs for a bumper. ill post pics.. still some more buffing and welding to do too the shifter. should be done tomarrow evening after work.
 
well heres what i have so far.. forgot a shifter pic. its too dark now. i started with this as the main part.

Thanks. I trimmed the fenders tonight after work. i get some when its dark so all pictures are on hault till weekends or once i get tags back on it.. hopefully this week. we will see. i also have a squeaky u joint. similar to a 95ish f150 to remove the shaft? we dont do may 4x4 rangers at work and my dad has never had one in for a ujoint any advice is appreciated.
 
well its been alittle while sorry. i had a bearing grenade and my rear brake springs exploded all over the the inside of the drum. i painted the wheels black and installed one of my new seats. pics tomarrow.

capped the bumper ends made light mounts bed linered the grill bumper and middle of the hood. wheels and mirrors are krylon ultra flat black.
 
i installed 14/36.5-15 on/offroad rvts i bought for 75 bucks. intend on groving the center lugs.. still no suspension lift just body lift and slightly cut fenders. this week ill be installing 4.10s with a ford true trac in the rear and a lock right in the front. im intending on doing a trans setup like plum crazy but with a doubler in the future so i didnt see reason for more then 4.10s. ill be doing a flatbed setup as well becuse my bed is rotted nasty.. ill get on pics soon i dont if anyone is watching this but i think it will be liked well when done.
 
update. transmission died so i rounded up some parts. 302 t19 np205 eb hp 44 and eb 9in all to be swapped in. Going for 6 inches of lift on 37s. Ill get some picks up as soon as a get back to working on it.
