my transmission wont shift into overdrive or reverse can someone tell me whats wrong

I need more info to help you, does it act like it wants to go bit slips, any noises, when did this happen, how bad is the fluid, what maintnence have you done, we need to know every thing its doing????????

it shifts into overdrive but its like nutural it wont keep goin and when i go in reverse it slips and sometimes it takes a little bit to go in reverse

how is 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears?
when was the last time you serviced the trans, or checked the fluid?


sounds like the OD band is out of ajustment or smoked, could also be the OD servo is blowing by.

delayed reverse engaugement would be the band or leaking servo.
