Nope. 1995 was the first year for airbags.

im pretty sure you could get airbags in rangers before '95.

Yes, 1995 was the first year that airbags were available. For prior years, I haven't come across any indication that they were offered in either the Ranger or Explorer, although they were installed in the Aerostar prior to '95.
